Authentically Maine

I am very much a Maine native with deep roots to the state. Maine is my home where I grew up and where my parents and grandparents grew up. Maine is different because of the lifestyle. You don't have to worry about things other people worry about like rattlesnakes and tornados. It's a good place to live and I love the four seasons, the spring, summer, fall, the changes.

Artistic Process

I have been involved with various aspects of woodworking since the 1950's. Two principles are strictly adhered to. The first is that all products will be produced only from species of wood native to Maine. The second is that wood will be fully utilized to do my part to help sustain the forest.

Some of my ideas come from customers. The best thing you can do is listen to what customers suggest, or want, or little changes that might make your product better. Some ideas come from within. My wife helps a lot, too.
